Strengths & Risks
The part most sites skip — both sides, from the RHP.
- Steadily profitable — PAT ₹12 → ₹16.6 Cr over three years; healthy ~26% EBITDA margin and ~13% PAT margin.
- Strong returns and moderate debt — ROE ~22%, ROCE ~20%, debt/equity ~0.45.
- All-fresh, capex-led issue — ₹105 Cr fresh, ~₹75 Cr to build a new manufacturing unit plus debt repayment.
- Diversified product base — 77 SKUs across pipe fittings, industrial/automotive moulds, hot-runner systems and 'WONDRA' cleaning products.
- Reasonable pricing — ~18.3x post-issue P/E (pre-issue ~12x).
- Profit growth cooled sharply — PAT up only ~5% in FY26 after ~32% in FY25; income growth ~10%.
- No grey-market premium quoted yet — a muted early listing signal.
- Execution risk — a large new manufacturing unit (~₹75 Cr) must be built and filled to justify the capex.
- Very small, thinly-traded SME with a high ~₹2.88 lakh minimum ticket — low post-listing liquidity and high volatility.
- Commodity/industrial-plastics exposure — resin input costs and end-market (building materials, autos) cyclicality can swing margins; on the Sep 15 final day the book is ~1.28× overall but lopsided (QIB ~3.31× while individual is just ~0.31×).

Should I apply for Om Galaxy IPO?
Our view: Neutral · May Apply
In simple terms, Om Galaxy makes precision plastic parts — pipe fittings, industrial and automotive moulds, hot-runner systems and its own 'WONDRA' cleaning products — and it is steadily profitable, with healthy margins, a solid ~22% return on its money and only moderate debt. The whole issue is fresh money, most of it to build a new manufacturing plant, so this is a genuine growth-capex story at a reasonable price (about 18 times earnings). The things to weigh: profit growth cooled sharply last year (up only ~5% after a ~32% jump the year before), the grey market has not quoted any premium, building and filling a big new plant carries execution risk, and the smallest application is large (about ₹2.88 lakh). On the Sep 15 final day the book is about 1.28 times overall but lopsided — the big institutions are in at ~3.3 times while retail is barely a third covered (~0.31 times) and NII ~0.83 times. It is a reasonable small-manufacturer story for someone comfortable with the thin liquidity and volatility of a tiny SME — otherwise the muted retail demand and absent grey-market signal are fair reasons to pass. This is IPOSignal's research view, not investment advice.
